Home This is the official website for
the California Santa Project. Here you will find what we are
doing, why, how you can help and more. Browse through the
different areas to find out more or just use the search option.
If you have any question, feel free to contact us. This is not a
busi Come back often, as we will be updating the site regularly. The Current Events page will show our work schedules, project needs and other related events. We here at the project would like to thank you for your interest and support in our efforts. We are all driven by the desire to serve God and His plan for us.
This is our tenth year! It's hard to believe that we have been doing this for a decade. Thanks so much to all who have made this possible!
This year there are three work shops where volunteers can come and help. Depending the demand (and your location), you may help at any shop you like. Check them out: Main Shop (Santa's Pad...) 6288 Sager Way, San Jose, 95123 (near Santa Teresa high school) Trey Haight: 925.784.4399 (cell), Map
The Saw Dust Shop 452 Oakmead Parkway, Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4708 Craig Colvin: 408.992.1004, http://www.sawdustshop.com (near Lawrence Expressway and 101 freeway)
Livermore The next effort is with a group in Livermore, CA. They will be taking on a toy and looking for volunteer help in the local area. Phil Davis: 925.321.2156.
Schedule Update The current work schedule is normally posted in the Efforts page but due to recent rescheduling, we have posted an update copy below. We really need your support. We have gotten a late start this year and it will take a tremendous effort to complete things on time. Thanks for all your help. Here is the current schedule! Please come help!
Beneficiaries The project benefits the homeless children of San Jose California, but there's so much more. The rewards and blessings received by the communities businesses and people involved are of equal importance. This is not a charity. This is our responsibility. It has become a mission however. With more families becoming homeless each year due to circumstances that can be found by watching any news channel or or picking up your local news paper. For more details on what the project is about, see the What We Do page.
History This has been an ongoing effort for 8 years now. There is a lot of detailed information with photos in the History page.
The People It takes the efforts of many people and resources to accomplish this effort every year. We get donations from businesses and individuals. A dedicated group of individuals from amateur, novice as well as professional builders commit their time in designing, building, wrapping and delivering the toys. This is by no means a one man, one family or even one community effort. Please visit the Support page to see just who these big hearted people are.
